Preparing for a Tsunami. Example, CAR ACCIDENTS LAW FIRM; the amount of OCF-documents and medical file volume was absolute insanity. I networked & introduced a new marketing solution and inflows began that doubled their annual case volume in 3 months, they could not manage, having to regroup, step back and hire more paralegals/law clerks and then another big delay to go paperless. With the CRIMINAL LAW CLIENT, all our phone lines died, I didn’t realize this could actually happen. We got flooded with calls from a successful campaign, we had to re-network the office for more line capability, then again, I had to halt, the staff could simply not handle the volume, customer complaints began, & again I had to stop. Since they made me partner, I decided to stick it out and stay longer. Ultimately, we were very successful and sold to a competitor. Factor in that you will need to optimize your workflow through CRM’s and paperless office procedures and solutions. I only focus on the SALES & MARKETING, not the workflow management. You have to be on top of your game in terms of maintaining a level of quality for the client while being able to intake new clients. BE PREPARED!
